Eating and Drinking

One of the many perks of living within the beautiful countryside is being able to explore the wide variety of country pubs that we have in the area. We will be able to advise you on some great, local food and drink venues, even some great local ales and enjoy some fantastic scenery. Our favourite is only a ten minute walk but be warned there is a hill!. In addition to this, we are situated around 20 minutes from Trowbridge where you can find a variety of chain restaurants, along with a big screen cinema.

Bath

We are so very lucky to have the beautiful, historic city of Bath right on our doorstep. Here you could enjoy a day visit to The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Bath Spa, No 1 Royal Crescent or simply a day shopping. There are so many lovely restaurants and cafes to meet all budgets. Walks in the Country

As keen walkers ourselves we will be able to advise you of some great, local walks around the area. Being situated on the back of the Longleat estate we can enjoy walks around Shearwater Lake and many local villages. In  additionl to this we are situated only approx. 40 mins.  from Stourhead Gardens. There are a multitude of walks which we can help you with to suit all abilities.
